Patrick J. Devine
Patrick Devine received his Bachelor's from the University of Delaware (Newark, DE, USA) in 1992, and went on to obtain a Ph.D. in 1999 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (Baltimore, MD, USA, mentor: Ellen K. Silbergeld). After performing post-doctoral work at The University of Arizona (1999-2003, Tucson, AZ, USA, mentor: Patricia B. Hoyer), he began as professor at the INRS-IAF.
His research is supported by funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. His main research goals are to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying female reproduction, especially those involving the ovary, and to characterize ways in which toxic exposures may adversely affect reproduction in the female.
