High Throughput Screening Robotic Platform
The INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier research center possesses a high throughput screening robotic platform.
Access to the platform is available to academic researchers as well as private companies.
The platform is composed of a colony picker able to process from 10000 to 25000 clones per day,
a liquid handling robot with multiple integrated components that enable the system to store and retrieve samples,
to read bar codes ensuring reliable tracking of samples, and to measure fluorescence, absorbance and luminescence.
The maximum number of samples that can be processed per day by each component varies depending on the experimental complexity.
A genomics platform is also available that is comprised of a DNA/Protein/Carbohydrate “on-demand” chip printer.
Processing and analyses are carried out by a robotic washing/hybridization station and a 2-laser micro array reader respectively.
For more information regarding the equipment in each platform, do not hesitate to download our
presentation or our
brochure in PDF format.
In order to help you adapt your experimental procedures to a high throughput scale,
a consulting service can be provided to ensure the best experimental design at the lowest cost.
